The Junior CSG Program was launched to cultivate a relationship between the younger generation and the formal IUCN-SSC-CSG. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Species Survival Commission (SSC) Crocodile Specialist Group (CSG) is a worldwide network of volunteers made up of biologists, scientists, government and non-government officials, wildlife managers, fashion industry representatives and researchers actively involved in the conservation of crocodilians in the wild.
By introducing and involving children in our conservation efforts, we aspire to spark their ongoing interest in the species and further develop their passion to pursue a lifelong dedication to crocodile conservation.The Junior CSG Program has four different groups. Each group receives emails and invitations to participate in activities based on their age and location. As the group grows and expands, so will the many activities and field trips.
|Group Name||Age Range|
|Hatchlings||Under age 6|
|Juveniles||Ages 6 – 10|
|Sub-Adults||Ages 11 – 15|
|Bull Crocs||Age 16 and up|
